NannyLedger Does Not Sell Your Data
NannyLedger does not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We never have, and we never will. Your payroll data, employment records, and financial information are used solely to provide our services to you.
Your Rights Under State Privacy Laws
Several U.S. states have enacted comprehensive privacy laws that give residents specific rights over their personal information. These include the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), the Colorado Privacy Act (CPA), the Connecticut Data Privacy Act (CTDPA), the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA), and others. Under these laws, you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose about you
- Access your personal information in a portable format
- Delete your personal information (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information
- Non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights
Because NannyLedger does not sell or share personal information as defined by these laws, there is no sale or sharing to opt out of. However, we fully respect your rights and will honor any request you submit.
How We Use Your Data
NannyLedger processes personal information only to provide payroll services to household employers and their employees. We share data with service providers strictly as necessary to operate the platform, such as payment processing and tax filing.
For a complete list of the third-party services we use and how they handle your data, please see our Subprocessors page. For our full data practices, review our Privacy Policy.
Submit a Privacy Request
If you would like to exercise any of your privacy rights — including requesting access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information — you can contact us at:
We will verify your identity before processing your request and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law (typically 45 days for CCPA requests). We will not charge a fee for processing your request unless it is manifestly unfounded or excessive.
Authorized Agents
You may designate an authorized agent to submit a privacy request on your behalf. To do so, please provide the agent with written permission signed by you and have the agent email us at privacy@nannyledger.com with proof of authorization. We may contact you directly to verify the request.
